I agree with you. There's no point in an EP, especially if she can't promote. She should re-release it with 4-5 new songs in late November following a new single in late October, promote it with a performance or two via satellite (like Beyonce did at the BET Awards), and just let the singles sell it. That way Loud will go 2 or 3x Platinum, like you said, and we don't have to worry about a flop EP. AND it could hit 7-9 million internationally. The UK will go crazy over a re-release from her.
Then she should release her 6th album in the spring or summer of 2012. But I don't want her to get a #1 album ever, unless it's her last album that does it.
Oh, and Rihanna's sixth album will be her last under this contract. But I am NOT here for her switching to Capitol. They would backseat her.

I don't know. Part of me says yes, but what other major label doesn't already have a big popstar to focus on? And even though Def Jam is horrible in some ways, they do treat her well in comparison to the rest of their roster, save for Justin.
