Updated with years 97-99, that makes it about last 15 years 
Biggest gainer from Grammy's so far is Norah Jones with 621025 copies of Come Away With Me in 2003, second being Santana with 583071 copies of Supernatural in 2000. |

The week Norah Jones sold 620k was her first week at #1. Come Away With Me was a slowburner record. It sold a substantial amount before the Grammys (I believe around 3 million), but it truly exploded after the Grammys.
I believe Santana had already been to #1 before the Grammys.

Don't know but looking @ top 10 figures i have her total should be lower than Adele's by about 2M. Till Grammy's she only once had sales above 200K. In % her Grammy increase will be still greater than Adele's.

Yes it's US sales. In 2000-2002 sales was huge. There was even Christmas week when all top 5 sold more than 500K copies
