One of the catchiest songs of the year. Once you've heard the chorus it's almost impossible not to wish you could play this song again. I'm not a big fan of her rapping but I do think Karmin would have a lot to offer if the general public gives them a chance.
Alanis Morissette "Guardian"
Everytime Alanis announces a new album it means something great is coming. She's one of the most authentic and talented girls out there, after all these years in the business and she's still with her feet on the ground releasing great music.
Luke Bryan "Drunk On You"
Luke is one of the most versatile country men in the business right now. He released 4 singles from this album and they all sound different. This one is my favorite song of his and it would have been my favorite country song of the year if it wasn't for the lyrics.
Nickelback "When We Stand Together"
This song was very underrated, but I didn't really expect it to get much appreciation since Nickelback usually gets a lot of hate. It's not their best song for a lead single but I still enjoyed it for a while. I love the lyrics and the chorus is pretty catchy.
Kelly Clarkson "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)"
I won't deny that I'm glad that Kelly stepped her game up in this era. I love her attitude, the way she mocks at those who make fun of her and keeps coming back for more. But this song, I just can't connect with it, it's really good but not the kind of "good" that I like.
Chevelle "Face To The Floor"
Definitely one of their best and most underrated singles. It has this power and catchiness that most of the rock songs released this year are lacking. Great message and great video aswell.
Gym Class Heroes feat. Ryan Tedder "The Fighter"
The rap songs with pop choruses fever is so 2010. This song keeps reminding me of "Rocketeer" everytime I listen to it. Nonetheless it's really good. One of my favorite Gym Class Heroes songs and probably the only one of theirs I will like this much.
Taylor Swift "Begin Again"
Love it or hate it but Taylor always looks stunning in every single one of her videos (except for IKYWT). In this video she shows a very artsy and mature side of her and she actually managed to look better than ever. The song might be simple but it's so cute.
David Guetta feat. Sia "She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)"
Who would've thought that of all artists an australian indie singer named Sia would be the perfect combo for David Guetta's beats? They work perfectly together and this is one of the very few dance songs that I can say that I like.
Hedley "One Life"
Hedley's last appearance. This is one of my favorite songs of theirs, second only to "Perfect". I'll be looking forward for their next album but I really think they could still release one more single from this one.
