fff; speaking of Gaga x Kendrick, the whole 'above mainstream' schtick yet, he was latching onto Gaga and recording a whole damn group of songs with her before taking off. Now he's still clinging to Pop Girls and throwing verses with Taylor.
There's no way 'a real raw Compton rapper' works with Lady Gaga, the singer at the time, known for 'Born this Way' for no other reason that desperation for success.

Rappers, even the most hardcore rappers of the '90s, collaborated with "pop girls." not a new concept. I'm sure he wanted his album to sell as every artist does despite what they tell y'all. But if he really wanted to have a blockbuster hit album, he wouldn't have released Pimp.
