When I start to write, I get a bit emotional . I went out earlier in the night for a long walk around the city for some inspiration and deep thinking but I'm having writer's block now. Just coming up with melodies in my head at the moment. Ugh, so annoying.

My friend is filming a music video for a song I wrote and legit I feel so nervous
This is the first time I've done this and I always doubt my writing anyway so. I keep asking him if the song is enough to give off the inspiration needed for a music video because idk lol

I'm recording a studio version of the song hopefully in the next 2 weeks

Got it! Have you ever wrote something based off of a dream you've had? I guess this is kinda similar to my last one, but it's more specific. I have a few times, honestly. It's a good source of inspiration, I find. I just had a dream last night that had song lyrics in it, and it was slaying me. I think they're lyrics from an already-existing song, but I still have to Google it to make sure. I will let you guys know how that turns out.

EDIT2: No, I can't seem to find anything that would tell me I'm stealing the lyrics I heard. The song in my dream was about a long-distance relationship, but it was a very happy, positive-sounding song. The chorus went something like this.

"There's no where else I'd rather be
Than around the world, right by your side
And when I call you, you call me 'baby'"

The part about the "around the world, right by your side" is about the person travelling around the world, but it being like the other person is "right by their side" due to talking on the phone or on Skype or something. Anyway, I SWEAR these are lyrics to a country song or something, but I can't find anything through Google. I always Google the lyrics that come to me in my sleep because you're apparently not supposed to invent things in your sleep, as it's taking bits and pieces of already-existing things and jumbling them up. Maybe I should research this one particularly more because it honest to goodness sounded like a song I've heard before.
