They need to update its Brazilian stats apparently. We know it did 2.1M U.S., 1.5M U.K., 500k+ France, etc. so 8.5M is believable (still low, imo), but I wish they would give us more known sales.

It even outdid Beyonce DVD the week it was released.
Anyway, if BOMT is confirmed to have sold 27M, that means its for sure that it shipped at least 30M. So OIDIA must have sold at least 23M and shipped 25M. Queen!
50M copies sold for only 2 albums

They'd have exact number for digital single sales since a shipment is now the same as a digital sales

If they are from IFPI, then they are correct. While IFPI only tracks shipments, that doesn't matter with digital single sales because each shipment is a sale.
The only area it could be overstated is with physical single sales. But since Britney sold only like 15M physical singles (2.9M U.S.), the number of overshipments is most likely not over 5M.
That is IF this is actually real. Did you send an email yet?

If the email turns out to be real, this will speak volumes of how little we actually know of global sales

If we underestimated her track sales by like 15M, then I think we can reasonably boost her album sales, was slw84 onto something with that 90M figure?
