No, Katy actually takes herself incredibly seriously. Which is why the rest of her catalog is fairly amateurish. She's not really a good enough songwriter to back up the pretense on most of her more adult-themed songs.

Like, don't get me wrong, I love love love a select few songs of hers, and Teenage Dream may very well be the greatest song of all time, but on the whole...no.
