Having two threads was getting tedious and not allowing other threads in the Music News section to bump up. I seen no reason not to since other major artists have one thread with single and album news posted in one thread.

BOY SIT DOWN! I was asked by multiple people, yourself included if I am not mistaken to merge the two threads. While Britney updates are nice, there only needs to be one thread within the Music News thread with the way both threads are actively bumped up.
