I think it's rushed because they weren't expecting Dark Horse. They probably intended to roll out Birthday in early February after the SMASH HIT Unconditionally had finally cooled off () and then release the video in late March. They didn't want DH to derail the whole era, so they are rushing this one and then we'll be back to our regularly scheduled singles.
I believe she can achieve Grammys record next year
