Exactly. I think the best way to describe Red is that it reaches some very, very high points. Potentially higher points than she's ever reached before. But she also reaches lows that I don't think she's quite reached before either.
She always has just one or two songs on past albums that I think are weaker. I don't dislike them, I simply think they just pale in comparison. However, there's a few more on Red that I feel this way about and that's something i'm not used to.
It's tricky. I think in some ways it's her best and in some ways it's not.
