People need to stop. Applause is being sold through the album preorder too, so Gaga has sold more than Katy even though Katy is higher than her on the songs chart.
I don't now why people has this idea that she's big Worldwide. She's big in the USA and the UK and that's ****ing it. She has zero #1 singles in Canada.
Even in the UK she is not that big. She only has a few songs sell over 500K. No song even close to the all time top 200. Pathetic.
Her theme this era is that she used to be an artist (forgive me, "koons") and now she's the art. A VMA performance a la Paparazzi where she actually kills herself onstage and becomes the art (sorry, "koons") is my suggestion.
