I listened to it once when I bought it off iTunes a few weeks ago.
And I just listened to it again now because of this post. Its probably the hardest Kelly song to get through ever because of the cheesy lyrics and Blake's boring voice.

I do love how she added her twang into the song though.

Went to the 2nd taping. Seemed like it would be an hour long. Still confused about the 2 different tapings. Kelly definitely stole the show tonight with her skit. Played up her American Idol/Competition roots and did some diva singing. Everyone was dying. Best night ever.

Well if you do, it'll be because of how cheesy and overly religious it is, not because of Kelly's flawless voice. Plus, hey even if you do hate it, it's not even her song, just a Christmas cover with a Country singer

I don't know if I'd say it's overly religious, at least no more so than the standard Christmas carols (Oh Holy Night, The First Noel, Silent Night, etc.). But it's kind of boring because the song isn't a vocal showcase, and I personally can't stand Blake Shelton's voice.

I don't find the Christmas song overly religious. I mean it's a Christmas song, of course it's gonna have Jesus in it somewhere. The lyrics sound like that stuff I used to sing for the senior citizens in children's choir when I was like 7 though
