Hillary speaks just fine, what y'all talking about? She sucked in the 90's - and read absolutely every word she said from notes or an offscreen card - but she's kind of amazing now. She's not the best, sure, but she's not bad.
re: Ryan likely becoming Speaker soon, I do like his personality and how he comes across but I have to look at his views and statements later before I can judge.
Hillary needs to seem more relaxed. Give me a mix of her departure from the State department and the way she is when... well, when she's speaking to black southern audiences and she'd be perf.
Anyway, I looked into Paul Ryan, and, well... He's not too awful, but the fact that a pretty-much-Tea-Partier is goin to be Speaker of the House and probably an eventual Republican nominee for president in 2020 or 2024...
I haven't read the full book (I've been meaning too), but she has somewhat of a point. There is an internalized misogyny in a lot of women. A powerful woman, whether it be in beauty or brains, is threatening too a lot of other women. A lot of women feel they can gain male approval by dismissing and/or condemning powerful women. And in worse cases, women who aren't satisfied with themselves, whether it be the way they look or what they've accomplished, resent women doing what they feel they should be the one doing. I don't believe that's the central root of dislike for her in white liberal women, but it's not quite baseless.
This true but Hillary still comes off as affective, it's not likeable anyway. Notice how the more popular candidates from both parties are far less filtered and calculated. Bernie, Trump and now Jeb and Rand Paul are starting to speak differently. People are disillusioned with the politician.
From what I've seen someone like Kirsten Gillibrand is far more likeable than Hillary. And would get women on board instead of having them in supposed envy.

I feel like Kirsten wouldn't lie to me. In interviews she's very well spoken and always comes with the facts. Generally with liberals, interviewers ask questions to trip them up, she has never fallen or dodged them. She doesn't have to because she has the right values, she has nothing to hide. Unlike Hillary who just seems very sleazy to me .
I'm reading an anti-Hillary book (out of curiosity) made up of stories by supposed insiders, and apparently, the reason why Oprah endorsed Obama over Hillary in 2008 was because during the Clinton white house, their staff circulated an email about her with the subject line "The fat lady hasn't sung yet" I know a lot of this is probably BS, but I cackled reading that.
Biden will run. The White House obviously aren't too happy with Hillary. She shouldn't have splintered from tiptoeing the White House line until Biden formally declined.
Biden running will eat up some of Hillary's votes. Won't affect Sanders because his base is solid. Biden and Hillary are parallels as establishment democrats, and although I think Clinton will win out in the end, it complicates the race in an undesirable way.
I want the democratic primaries to be efficient and simple.
