The airplay margin between "The Monster" and "Timber" is becoming smaller with Timber gaining around 3-5x as much as TM daily.

The sales gap is becoming bigger with Timber having nearly more than a 30% lead over TM.

I'm not sure about streaming, UMich would be the one to ask on that.

Let's just say it's safe to assume that Timber will be snatching #1 sometime soon o/

A week ago, a 20% difference in overall Hot 100 points separated the songs. This week, with "The Monster" up by 3% and "Timber" climbing by 8%, the margin lessens to 15%.

Radio airplay last Tuesday:
EMINEM – The Monster f/Rihanna: 184.562
7. PITBULL – Timber f/Ke$ha: 113.047 (+ 3.505)

Radio airplay today:
1. EMINEM – The Monster f/Rihanna: 188.001 (- 0.974)
6. PITBULL – Timber f/Ke$ha: 127.502 (+ 0.865)

iTunes USA combined:
Timber 1.000
The Monster 0.8568

#48 on Spotify but I read here that there was a glitch and that it was #1 and it caused it to go down but I don't know

The airplay gap is getting smaller and it will likely be the Christmas #1 song so the big sales could make it go number one on Hot 100

This is really exciting news. Hopefully it can continue to pick up and The Monster will start losing steam.
