The thing about that is I see it being a lot more relaxed and informal than PH. There would probably be like 2 weeks to write a song and a week for everyone to get their scores in. We'll see when we get there though, I don't wanna be the dictator of what can and can't happen!

Been writing a lot lately, only have one completely finished song though (and by finished I mean it has 2 verses, a chorus, and a bridge... Some of the lyrics could definitely be changed lol)

I've had such terrible writer's block lately. I think it's due to a combination of my life being fairly boring at the moment, being really busy, and the fact that I'm becoming such a perfectionist where every lyric and melody has to be single worthy

I do have a date tomorrow though for the first time in like 5ever so hopefully that will give me some inspiration. I have a few concepts in mind as well

hey guys I'm new in this thread

I play the trumpet but occasionally I come up with lyrics and melodies in my head that I want to make into a full song... It usually ends up not working up because I don't have access to a trumpet, I don't know how to compose on the trumpet, and I just don't play the guitar or the piano.

The last two days I did come up with a full song that's mostly in my head and in some parts on my ipad's garageband :P

I've been trying to make out the chords that the song is made up of using the piano on there and my ear, and I think it's going okay... is there anyone to help me with respect to making the melodies + the lyrics I have into songs? I don't know, maybe by checking if the chord structure makes sense and giving me advice or something? I need some experience as I have none

Will probably share some of the lyrics (not that great but they are pretty literal for me)*so any feedback would be amazing

EDIT: I just wanna note that throughout the years I did 'write' many many songs, they just either remained in my voice memos or became really basic stuff.. I can sing in tune but singing is still not my forte... I love writing songs when the inspiration does hit, and it seems like it has the last couple of days
