Just put a Windows partition on it. Or install Windows to a USB and run it off that

I feel like EA may have made a deal with Aspyr or whatever for them to publish it.
I still don't understand why they can't just do what they did with The Sims 3 and support both.

I suppose it gets EA more money if someone purchases the publishing rights for Mac. But still.

I wouldn't mind if rabbit holes still played a part in the game. The annoying thing about University for me, was the lectures you actually had to take to your sims to and control in them - too much effort. Rabbit holes are crucial, I'd say. I'm all for them having a select few playable careers, but they're still necessary.

The rabbit holes imo are good for some things, I think the University thing is cool, but not when you have tons of sims. It becomes quite of a messy burden. That's fine and dandy for 1 or 2 Sims. I just don't like a lot of downtime having them at work and school, and you having to skip through most of the day because they're both at work/school.

They didn't explicitly say there isn't a version coming for Mac, they just said that they have no updates about the game being on it at this time, they would be stupid not to include as many computer users as they can.

I'm sure it will be on Mac, whether it's a port or native. SimCity 2013 got a native Mac release almost 6 months after the Windows release, but The Sims 3 had a Mac port from the start.

I'm going to run it through Bootcamp either way because gaming performance is so much better through Windows.

They just put 12/31 as a tentative date when only the year is known. They revealed the release date recently so Amazon just hasn't updated it yet
