This is the story of a young highschool girl who had to deal with the mistake of accidental pregnancy. At first she couldn't believe that it could happen to her. She thought about getting an abortion to solve her "problem", but she looked for help in her own god. She decided to not abort the baby. She now lives as a single mother with her beautiful baby girl. She knows in her heart that she made the right decision that night, to not get an abortion.
As Hilary struggled to deal with her demanding schedule and the pressures of meeting up to the public's often conflicting expectations of her, her music began to take a darker path, reflecting upon her own state of mind. Perhaps the peak of this worrying change was the recording and release of "Fly", the lead single from her second studio album.
While on the surface an uplifting track about embracing life and living it to the fullest, "Fly" is in fact a dangerously manipulative song, its true meaning hidden behind cleverly phrased lines and wordings. It begins with the troubled pop-star whispering, “In a moment, everything can change. Feel the wind on your shoulders”, which she later admitted to being a carefully worded reference to suicide; the feeling of wind pushing against your body as you plummet to the ground. "Why leave your death up to fate?" is the message that the starting line of "Fly" appears to ask. She urges the listener to stop caring about the world for that one crucial moment needed to make such a decision, and instead “let go of your yesterday” and leave one’s worries “somewhere else”. The line is also a reference to one of her first hits "So Yesterday", a way of telling the world to move on from the Hilary Duff that they had come to love.
She continues to push and persuade the still uncertain person, telling him he can “forget about the reasons why you can't in life”, and urging him to make the decision to “take control” and “fly” - presumably to his death, though the word also appears to have a second connotation relating to his ascension into heaven after death, for Duff seems convinced that suicide is merely a quicker path to God, as seen in the pre-chorus:

Can you trust this longing?
Duff convinces the listener that it’s time to think about himself, and “reach for something, when there's nothing left, and the world's feeling hollow.” She refers to it as a dream, like something that needs to be attained – freedom from earth and its repressing qualities. Aware of the fear that often grips a person just before such an irreversible action, she sings, "Trust yourself and don't give up. You know you better than anyone else."
Perhaps what makes "Fly" such an unsettling song, is that it invites others to join Duff in her supposed attainment of happiness. She calls on them to see their loneliness and misery as further motivation to make a "change". The original music video, embedded above, featured an unusually dark plot, with a plainly dressed, brunette Duff (symbolising, perhaps, that she could no longer live up to society's expectations of her as the sweet child-actor that she was still seen as) contemplating suicide as her loved ones unknowingly watch her mere metres away. The song plays along to flashbacks of her life as a star. As the track cuts off at the end, the viewer sees Duff underwater, struggling for air. We see her (presumed) boyfriend swimming towards her, and Duff apparently screaming "Stop!" repeatedly. The video then ends without us finding out if she was successful in her own efforts of conquering man's natural fear of death.
Upon completion, Hollywood Records decided to scrap the controversial storyline so as not to tarnish the image that Hilary was still struggling to maintain. Unfortunately, there was no time to reshoot the video, and thus the only major changes made were the cutting out of the introduction and ending, which still failed to completely lift the mood of the video, despite all their efforts.

Right off the bat, she wishes for something, making a reference to the popular wishing well concept. Her dream is to become famous. Admirable, cute, sweet, etc. But she looks at the pop stars that are famous right now, and says they're in her way of becoming famous. She knows that the music industry is a tough road to go on.

I wasn't looking for this,
but now you're in my way
I trade my soul for a wish? Well, obviously it's saying she'd trade her soul, her morals and values, to be famous. She didn't want to come to this point (I wasn't looking for this), but once again, the pop star is blocking her path to being famous.

Where you think you're going, baby?
In order to become famous, she has to change her innocent image to a more revealing and rebellious look, become something she isn't (ripped jeans; skin was showin'). The pressure is heating up the situation, but it's too late to stop now when she's working so hard.

She enjoys the fame she now has reached, but it's not enough. She wants the Illuminati to reach her and have her join their ranks, to become the superstar she dreamed of being of; even if it hurts her and she has to let a few people go in the process.

Pretty straightforward; it took a while for the Illuminati to acknowledge her but it finally happened. Even though the time of just waiting for a response made her anxious and even hurt her like no other, she's excited she finally has the chance.

Essentially, it's saying I do all of these bad things by instinct because the Illuminati has trained me to do it. I shouldn't do them, but it doesn't matter cause I have what I want now.
Carly Rae Jepsen will stop at NOTHING to be Queen of the Illuminati. This song proves it.

And now we can prove that it, in fact, did.
Let's take a walk through Judas, the controversial second single from Gaga's Born This Way.
For your following along pleasure:
What masquerades as just another Gaga-bashing-religion-for-publicity track is actually something much more sinister.
A KATY PERRY DISS TRACK.
A mockery set from the California Gurl's perspective.
Start at 0:00 (a very fine place to start).
A clear imitation of young Katy Hudson's "I'm in love with Jesus!" mantra.
Jump to 0:15.
Think Gaga is singing "Ju-dAAAAs" a bit oddly? Almost intentionally off-key?
That's not for artistic effect, folks. She's mocking Katy's shaky and off-key live performances. Roughly hitting notes, etc.
At 0:21, she ends the Judas chant with "Gaaa Ga!" She isn't just arrogantly name-checking herself.
She's implying Katy copies her.
Think the verses are too random to be related to Ms Perry? Look deeper.
At 0:40, Gaga states "I wash his feet with my hair if he needs."
So, expanding "he" further in this context, Katy is willing to shamelessly do whatever it takes to appeal to audiences.
It's a selling out accusation side jab from Team Gaga.
We can skip over some more background off singing to get to the chorus at 1:05.
Gaga doesn't hold back, claiming Katy is "just a holy fool" (a basic one?) that's "still in love with Judas."
She sings it happily and lightly, mocking Katy's carefree musical style.
The "I couldn't love a man so purely" line at 1:42 is fairly underhanded.
Gaga is mocking the "I kissed a girl, just to try it, hope my boyfriend don't mind it" line from Ms. Perry's debut single.
Do you even need more proof this song is about Katy still?

Take a big leap to 2:55
"In the most biblical sense, I am beyond repentance
Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind"
Gaga plays dirty here. She claims that Katy has sold out so much that her religion would never accept her anyway.
Then that "Fame hooker, prostitute wench" part. Ouch.
And "vomits her mind" is added in as a one-two punch attack on Katy's songwriting ability.
Knockout.
Gaga drags like there's no tomorrow, and it's all there if you look close enough.
Once the general public discovers the true meaning, Judas will never be the same for anyone again. It's undeniable.
