Hopefully she can get it next week. As it looks like she's catching up with Matt on iTunes, and next week his physical sales are not going to be that high (they are going to fall drasticly) and theres not any big competition being released next week. (Only Cee-Lo Green and Tinie Tempah)
Erm, She has more airplay than matt. But in the UK airplay is not counted towards the charts (like with the BBH100). But i really believe that if she does 2 different promo stops next week that she can get to #1.

She's always been popular, I would go on to say, on the same level as GAGA, remember "GGGB" era, however, she sorta lost some of her power, with RATED R, the public didn't really like that side of her, but as you see, they love this side of RIRI!

my point exactly, RUDE BOY didn't sound like any other song on RATED R, it stood out like a sore thumb, RUDE BOY sounded like it belonged on LOUD, hence the sound of LOUD, (whats my name, S&M) they follow RUDE BOY's lead, musically and lyrically!

K thanks! And isn't TInie Tempah kinda losing some popularity in the UK?
Yeah I knew that it was just sales based, but I didn't know if she had a ton of airplay to increase her sales. Oh well...its still going to be a MEGA success regardless.

Why is it out of the box for people to say rihanna is as popular as Gaga in the Uk?
Rihanna has had 3 top 10s concurrently
A song to stay #1 for 10 weeks
an album to sell 190-200k+ for 2 weeks straight
an album that will go 3x platinum in less than 2 months
and a song that looks to top 1million with OG
those are things gaga hasnt accomplished yet besides the 1m selling song.

Rihanna is VERY POPULAR in the UK. Let's leave it like that and enjoy that as a fan.
But Gaga has a +1M seller (poker face)
Gaga has a 8xPlatinum album there (more than any rihanna album ever.)
But yes, Rihanna has had 5 songs inside the Top40 simultaneously, and 3 songs insde the Top10 2 times in a row. And Loud is selling amazing. And Rihanna's singles have sold more than 3 Million as of last week

Lol, Thats Tinchy Stryder. and it flopped hard. Everyone expected it to bomb, as it had nearly all of the mainstream UK grime/mc artists
