I'm not going to act like Rihanna was my favorite thing in 2005. I heard Pon De Replay and was like aw, nice song, next! I hated her, I thought was a replica of what everyone else was, nothing original other than the fact that she was from an island. 2006, S.0.S came out, and I liked it, bought it but was like eh, One Hit Wonder. next, then Unfaithful came out, I loved the song, however felt like it was a fluke. I didnt possibly think she could have a song that great, and I began watching her. When Umbrella came out I was hooked, but I didn't buy GGGB. Nope, I just loved her music. I didn't buy GGGB until Disturbia. Now I'm a huge STAN!
I love Rihanna, because she exemplifies orginaility. She is her own person. She makes her moves and she doesnt care about whether or not its a success or not. She also wants to make music for her fans and thats what keeps her sane. She knows a hit, and she knows what is a flop however, she still gives every song a try, and records them. Thats just artistry right there. As big as she is, her ego isnt to the point where shes like, ew awful song, she gives it a try. Also, every album she evolves, she doesnt stay sedentary. She keeps on chaging, improving her sound, music, vocals and herself. How can you not love someone who only wants to get better at what they do? I truly believe that Rihanna will stay here for awhile, and make a huge impact in modern music!
Amazing song. And I'm still really bummed she ended up closing the LGOE tour with Umbrella instead of this. I think TLS would've made a great surprise encore to the tour for the hardcore fans.

Ive loved Rih since Unfaithful. That was the first album i ever held in my hands; A girl Like me. My sister bought it for me. I dont like how people consider AGLM as one of the mixtapes i only think that MOTS is a 'mixtape'. Aglm had that special ummpphhhh to it. I really do enjoy listening to it. WE RIDE WAS MY JAM!!
