RIM already set the standard for disappointments so I honestly didn't care about Muny getting robbed.

Nicki is stubborn though. She doesn't have to necessarily realize "I hurt my Urban audience" all at once. It could be a gradual thing following Summer Jam where she begins to get serious about the Re-Up and keeping it very rap focused.
Scraping PTA as a response to Summer Jam would have been a media mess. The backlash she would have to deal with. People would REALLY call her a sell-out for that. Then if Champion flopped, it would have been an even bigger mess. She just never intended to have Champion as a single.
