What this might do is change the opinions of undecided and independent voters. And if it does that, it won't be a lot. Everyone has heard about Clinton's emails. This is effectively comparable to Trump having a 13th victim come out to talk about sexual assault.

No it isn't. This is the FBI potentially opening a case on a presidential candidate. As awful as it is, people don't care about the sexual assault stuff. It did absolutely nothing to his numbers.

If an undecided voter who isn't paying that much attention sees a presidential candidate is potentially under FBI investigation 10 days from election do you think they are going to vote for them? No way.

This is horrible for her and they have to do damage control fast.

The letter clearly stated that they didn't know if the information was going to be relevant or not and he quoted it saying that the information was 100% relevant.

The emails are a baked in issue for the most part. Even in July when her polls tanked Trump didn't get a lead aside from a small bump post-RNC.

Comey has to give more details before I'm convinced it's election altering.

People did care about the sexual assault stuff. The Access Hollywood tapes are the #1 most talked about moment of this election, and that paired with the 12 women coming out against Trump TANKED his numbers with women.

Undecided voters already know Hillary has issues with emails. They already know she went through FBI investigation. POTENTIALLY going through it again isn't going to change the majority of these voters minds.
