I'm glad they're out after all. They went on sending the same folk mess up until 2002, then they won, then they sent trash (2005-6-7), then Hadise, and then they sent some rock songs. They knew they had 80 assured points from migrants and ex-Ottoman countries so why put effort.

I usually never like their songs but since that's where I originally come from I was watching the show to see how they did. Usually I came across bops from other countries while doing that.

However, Turkey has actually quite competent people that they could send but: 1) they don't wanna participate or 2) TRT (the main national tv-channel) doesn't send them.

Do you know how frustrated we usually are with their song choices?

how did you discover it? you are from cali right?

i grew up with it, watched it since i was a little child. the first esc i remember is ca 88

Y'all are lucky living in countries where ESC was a thing. Italy left in 1997 when I was 1 and the first time I watched it was in 2011 when we came back I only watched the finals up until last year. Now I'm almost an insider

I’m wondering if that’s because it’s as far as my memory is willing to go or it’s because I never seen it before since we escaped from behind the iron curtain in 1986.

i'm born 82 ......i do kinda remember 87, 86...so since i was 4 or so haha. like i've said, i've watched it all my life.

Suprised? I listened only verse and pre-chorus and it's so good. Also Dami is amazing singer (the best this year for sure) and performer (I'm sure she'll give us flawless show). Plus her korean beauty - she is clearly winner I want to bet my coins right now
