I agree wholeheartedly.
Gimple is a beautiful storyteller, he's done incredible things so far with the show.
The pacing has always been an issue and this season has been nothing but seamless. There's IMMENSE character development from underused characters by other showrunners already like Carol, Sasha, Tyreese, Bob, even Tara has been unfolding a bit.
All the while keeping the build up of characters people already love like Rick, Daryl and Michonne.
The source material is evermore present in the show which is fantastic, Kirkman and company have done incredible job with the comics and there's no need for randomness.
I feel for Andrea fans, what Mazzara did because he just didn't like Laurie Holden to the character was abominable. Wish Gimple was around during season three to handle things properly because Andrea is such a massive character in the comics.
And I'm sure there's tons of theories around calling Carol, Sasha or even Beth the new Andrea for several reasons (Carol got Andrea's twins storyline and has inherited her overall badassery times x100, Sasha has now taken her Tainted Meat storyline and continues to develop as a strong female in the cast and well some Bethyl stans say her new scar matches Andrea's but lordT lol).
Regardless, Andrea was unique and yeah, she still is missed.
