I mean, that's sort of interesting, but slightly bothers me now that everything won't be so linear.

I mean, I don't play as the pre-made households, but I interact with them. I find the stories in Bridgeport and some other worlds interesting and I like to have my Sim be a part of them rather than just doing everything with my own Sim.

First Sims I played. Had it on Gameboy when I was 5.

All I remember is cleaning the bird poop off the window as a job.

They're idots. The reason why the Sims 3 games were dual Mac-PC compatible was due to the high demand from Mac users. Think about the types of people who own Mac's and then the type of people who own The Sims.

Apparently it's in sections, of which the sections will be open, for example the neighbourhood will be open, but loading times may happen if you were to go into the town centre/another district, I'm not too sure though.

We can still run The Sims 4 on our Mac. Just not on the OSX partition.
It's not hard to install a Windows partition. Takes an hour at most.

It's still on development. I guess that's kind of good since there's a possibility of more features being added, but it means less time to test the game fully and fix the bugs.

I know y'all are dragging them for the Mac thing but does anyone have any advice on how to make the sims 3 work faster for me?

Even when I turn everything down to the minimum settings they freeze up randomly (water animations and tree movement still happens but the sims themselves freeze temporarily) and it's leads to crashes and stuff. I constantly have to save so I don't lose my progress (like once every 3-5 minutes). That is NO way to love. Is there a mod or anything? My specs are fine for the sims.

Download ErrorTrap from NRaas. Try reinstalling the game if that doesn't work.
