The songs aren't the problem though. The lack of radio support, promo, and Epic budget are the issues.
HTNGU might not have been #1 even with all that stuff ( I admit, I was wrong. It doesn't even sound like it would've deserved it anymore anyway) but there is no reason why it couldn't have gone Top 10.
RNR is currently out of the Top 300 on iTunes. The song can't be that horrible that it falls that hard. Nobody knows about the song or cares about Avril at this point. A ton of events led to this but it can certainly be fixed, Epic (and Avril) just need to get their act together.
