Ofc he did. JT never had talent to stand on his own.
In Nsync where he was a substitute for some other member that dropped out he relied on JC Chasez to carry him.
After nobody could stand him in that group anymore he started to rely on Godney.
Now without anybody his local album flopped and hence was replaced by a talented man like The Weekend. It was inevitable.
