maybe im biased but new orleans has a great gay community. also miami. both are also so beautiful and so different scenery wise from the rest of the us.

Honestly being in the gay community in the south is the worst experience in my entire life. I never had to deal with racism until I moved to the south and I've moved to several places in the south.

I'd like to discuss more on this, but no one would read it or even care.

oh and new orleans can be very dirty though. and also has bad crime in some areas.

like i would suggest you not walk down bourbon st. early in the morning because they have the city cleaners come and wash all the vomit off the streets dd

i just love new orleans though. even though it's poor, got destroyed by katrina, and is supposed to be underwater in 50 years, the city has so much character and just feels like home
