Like there was never really any big coming out scene either. They were treated as if they were any other couple on the show, which is great

In the episode Oz comes back, Buffy asks her why it's a complicated decision and Willow replies, "It's complicated because of Tara." Which kind of served as her 'coming out' to the other characters. But there was no big storyline built around it and it wasn't a big deal.
