because your points up to now have been SALES SALES SALES. you're not really engaging with what the artists are doing in the grand scheme of things and how audiences are going to react. i brought up 50 because he was a huge seller but he didn't elicit much respect in the community.
now, look at illmatic. the 90's version of ihype would have jumped to call it a flop because of its initial low sales, and yet it's widely revered as one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. drake has acclaim, but i don't see his albums lasting as well as kendrick's. that is my point and my OPINION.

what people also tend to do in syg is counter other people's points. sorry if it scares you but i'm not scrolling past your posts if i see something that 'bothers me'. again, i don't see why you have to be passive aggressive all the time. grow up a bit.
