yeah........no. I don't agree with that at all. People tend to vote along party lines but most people actually have hopes that thhe politicians they vote for will help their situation get better. If what you are saying is even remotely true then why is the GOP falling apart? Repubs have blocked Obama for 6 years and their constituents hate them because they haven't gotten anything done. The proof is there in the Rise of Trump. People want results (ie better jobs/economy/schools/roads etc) and the GOP wont survive unless they produce them.
the reason they want trump is to get rid of the political process entirely. why else do they worship putin? it's a pure anarchy vote. im not talking about party-line republicans. im talking about the 30-40% that strongly agree with trumps message. democrats are satan to them and they think republicans aren't doing enough damage.

the people voting in these assholes are voting them in because they don't want things to get passed at all though. they literally want the federal government to fall apart at the seams. the benefit is is that the vast majority don't want the government to fall apart but republicans are quickly learning that gerrymandering is actively hurting them in the long run as they continue to elect more anarchists and obstructionists into the system. these people do not want compromise. they don't want measures to pass. they want the federal government of the united states to be dismantled as we know it.
All because THEY can't be the ones in power. Because the vast majority of the AMERICAN people don't have faith in their governing abilities or are unconvinced with the direction they want to take the country.
It's truly amazing. Rather than acting as an agent for the people, instead they're pushing their own pettiness and personal interests. Cause I guarantee you, the average Republican voter will NOT care if a measure is passed by the Democrat that improves his or her quality of life. It's ridiculous.

I'm sorry, but hearing Hillary re-hash all the things Trump has did and said.... if that was ANY Democrat, I swear the right side would RIOT. Especially in regards to his military comments. That's supposedly such a touchy subject for white, Republican Americans when it comes to black people protesting the anthem (which has no specific affiliation), but when Trump makes fun of them it's okay? Girl...
