Comparing her to Gaga isn't fair. Joanne has positioned herself as a gay advocate. Bey has not. Not everyone wants to be a gay advocate and newsflash: that doesn't make you homophobic.
And she NEVER speaks out on law & policy, yet she should just come out of the woodwork for gays in a city where she doesn't even live? And as we found out with the Black Lives Matter movement, she does lots of stuff behind the scenes so in actuality, you don't really know if she cares or not.
