Britney's single (I already forgot the name of it) debuted at #1. Shortly after lyrics to Gaga's lead single were released and Britney stans were not pressed about. They were so not pressed that they created anti-Gaga blogs. They were so not pressed about Gaga that they spammed any message board they could find with Britney's resume (242 million records sold, 922 million followers, most searched on Yahoo! and, other foolishness).

I think it’s amazing. Some people might’ve been concerned because of the lyrics. The lyrics were a little serious and they had heard some songs that had not leaked, but they had heard a song before called “You And I”, which is a rock ballad. “Born This Way” is what you would expect from Gaga. It’s a big dance/pop record, but it feels like growth. It feels like evolution and it feels very current.
