It's impossible to rate Dangerous Bible lower than an 8 anyway, so no one will complain if a stan reviews ![Sistrens](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/random/mskt8j_zpsfb323382.gif)

Debut review ![heart2](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/a3fdf692.gif)
Meghan Trainor - Thank You
6.9/10
Honestly, I was not into Meghan's debut much. I liked the singles she released but didn't get into Title much and felt most of her songs were similar. Luckily Thank You is a massive improvement, whose cool 00s inspired sound is fresh even if the album tracklisting is questionable at times.
1. Watch Me Do - 9/10
A catchy song which set the self-confident theme of the album to be repeated on songs such as Me Too effectively.
2. Me Too - 9/10
Although it's beat is questionably similar to Britney's Trouble For Me, the song is another memorable one from Meghan and is a worthy follow up as a single to NO. It's lyrics are also enhanced when you consider the photoshop controversy that has surrounded it, even though I cringe at ' What's that icy thing hangin' 'round my neck. That's gold, show me some respect'
3. NO - 10/10
Easily one of the best song off Thank You. A fiery 00s inspired track that will no doubt be considered a pop classic in the future.
4. Better - 7/10
Meghan's part is good and the song has a nice build towards the chorus, however it is brought down by Yo Gotti's rap verse which it seems was only included to pad the song closer to the 3 minute mark.
5. Hopeless Romantic - 8/10
I quite like this song, and its the superior ballad on this album. It seems that the song flows effortlessly.
6. I Love Me - 6/10
When Meghan released this for promo I did not enjoy it but I must admit it has grown on me and Lunchmoney Lewis fits perfectly on it. An apt song which fits the self-confidence theme of the album.
7. Kindly Calm Me Down - 2/10
Perhaps if this song was placed somewhere else on this album I would like it more but it comes off as misplaced and dull compared to the more funkier songs surrounding it.
8. Woman Up - 10/10
Definitely one of the better songs off Thank You. The chorus packs a punch and the song spawns my favourite lyric off the album ' Like Madonna would rub her lipstick redder than wine.
9. Just a Friend to You - 6/10
It's nice that she attempted another genre quite successfully and the song is just that, nice and oddly melancholic.
10. I Won't Let You Down - 8/10
Probably the most underrated track off Thank You, it impossible not to feel happy listening to this song. Yet, songs such as NO probably overshadow this gem.
11. Dance Like Yo Daddy - 4/10
A silly mess of a song which isn't diabolical overall but its lyrics certainly are. It doesn't strike me as a song that I would have on repeat.
12. Champagne Problems - 10/10
Repetitive but effective, definitely a pop masterpiece.
13. Mom - 4/10
Basic lyrics and a random cameo from her real Mom which can be viewed as ~groundbreaking~, this song does not hold up against the better tracks on Thank You.
14. Friends - 5/10
It's a nice post-party song, the chorus is the best aspect of this song. Perhaps this was well placed at the end of the album.
15. Thank You - 6/10
It's a great ending to this album, but I was honestly expecting more from this title track.

MEGHAN TRAINOR - THANK YOU
9.5/10
1. Watch Me Do: 7.5/10
Watch Me Do is a pretty fun song. It's lyrics are so great and it's pretty catchy. The production on it is really cute. It's not a great song to start the album with though.
2. Me Too: 10/10
I didn't like Me Too at first. Over time, though, it has grown on me. It's extremely messy, but in a good way. The is prechorus is really fun, and the chorus is soooo catchy.
3. NO: 10/10
What can I say about this one? The "Untouchable" parts are absolutely amazing. The verses and chorus also slay. The production in the verses is fantastic.
4. Better: 8.5/10
This song has somewhat of an...."eery" sound which is pretty cool. It's also rather catchy. I love how she also sounds somewhat tired as she sings the song.
5. Hopeless Romantic: 10/10
This one took a bit to grow on me. I love the simplicity of it, and her vocals are really good on it. Also, it's a Meghan Trainor song, so of course it's catchy.
6. I Love Me: 8.5/10
Say what you want about this song, but you can't deny that's it's cute and fun. The production is great.
7. Kindly Calm Me Down: 10/10
Kindly Calm Me Down is probably the best song on the album. There's something so amazing about the part of the song when her vocals first come in after the intro. The final chorus is epic with her shouting "Calm me down babe."
8. Woman Up: 10/10
This is one heck of a bop. The production in the chorus has a certain sound to it that is very appealing. The "Woman up, woman up" part is also catchy. There's not much else to say about this one. It's just a BOP!
9. Just A Friend To You: 9.5/10
Like Hopeless Romantic, this one is also simple in a good way. It's so hard to not sing along to the chorus of this one. The guitar (or ukulele) really draws you into the song. Her vocals in this one are also beautiful.
10. I Won't Let You Down: 9.5/10
Unfortunately, this song doesn't really stand out that much on the album. That's how it was for me at first anyways. I ended up listening to it alone and discovering that it's one hell of a good track. The chorus is pretty powerful, which I love. This another one that is so hard to not sing along to.
11. Dance Like Yo Daddy: 9.5/10
Lol. This song is a wonderful mess. You can just picture a cute old man dancing to this one. The background vocals really add to the song. "Simon says go touch your nose, but Meghan says go touch your toes." is one of my favorite lines from the album.
12. Champagne Problems: 10/10
This song has a much sadder vibe to it than i expected it to based on the first snippets we heard of it. Nevertheless, it is still a great song. That breakdown is FIRE. This would be a great song to listen to in the car with your windows down on a summer night. It's a great closer for the standard edition of the album.
13. Mom: 10/10
This one has a nice, powerful, somewhat busy chorus. I love that. The bridge with Kelli Trainor is cute. It's so nice hearing one of her classic doo wop songs on this album full of other stuff.
14. Friends: 9/10
I'm not sure what I like about this one. I guess maybe it's the background voices, possibly. The subject of the song is also really sweet.
15. Thank You: 10/10
Wow. This is such a great finish to a great album. I've loved this track ever since I heard the snippet on Meghan's Instagram account. The tropical (?) production is really cute. R City doesn't have a very big part on the song, but they still add to it. This is an epic song all around. The prechorus, chorus, and post chorus are all absolutely flawless. The multiple voices in the final post chorus are so great. That final post chorus is the perfect ending to the album.

After a scandal, which made almost as many lines in the media as her hit-filled sophomore album ''My Everyting'', Ariana Grande is officially back with her third studio album Dangerous Woman The album, whose original name was ''Moonlight'', was released on May 20, and is now going to get it's first review.
Moonlight:An extremely great album opener. It is really good to listen to when you want to chill, and just daydream. The songs makes you want to lay under the moonlight and just relax, with no worries. 10/10
Dangerous Woman:Something very new for Miss Grande. One of the many songs on the album she shows her vocals in. Also, the guitar makes this even better! Extremely catchy. 10/10
Be Alright:I love the house influences. This is also a good song to relax to. The song could've been a 10/10, but due to the repetitive lyrics, it'll get a 9.5/10
Into You:Pure perfection. This dance pop song is one of the greatest things Ariana has ever done, and probably (one of) the best songs of this year. An absolute 10/10.
Side To Side (ft. Nicki Minaj):Another 10/10. Nicki Minaj adds something to this reggae influenced song, and the term Dick Bicycle is always worth a laugh.
Let Me Love You (ft. Lil Wayne):A good song, but the Lil Wayne feature does nothing to me. The chorus is also a bit boring. Regardless, it's a good song. 9/10
Greedy:Another pop perfection song. I love the belts, and the key change in the last chorus is great, and pushes this song to it's deserved 10/10 points.
Leave Me Lonely (ft. Macy Gray):Although the version she performed live was better, and the baby voice she's using might be annoying at first, you will get used to it. Good lyrics and good vocals, and a very unexpected collab, that she hasn't done before, gives this song 10/10 points.
Everyday (ft. Future):God, will this streek of great songs ever stop? Everyday continues it. Future saying ''everyday'' in the chorus really adds something to the song, and makes it extremely catchy. 9.5/10
SometimesAnother extremely catchy song. The ''La La La La'''s make this song even better, and the pre-chorus and the bridge are just flawless. The lyrics are good as well. 10/10.
I Don't Care:The worst track on the entire album, and probably the worst track she's ever done. The lyrics are mostly ''I Don't Care'' and the song is just straight-up boring. If she wanted to say that she didn't care, she could've done it like YDKM, from her previous album, but I Don't Care just fails to tell the haters she doesn't care, it rather makes them fall asleep before the whole song ended. 5/10
Bad Decisions:This is what IDC tried to be like but failed. The beginning sounds like a rap, and that's amazing. The lyric ''Ain't you ever seen a princess be a bad b*tch''is my favorite.10/10
Touch It: The fan favorite, deservingly. Very deep lyrics, extremely catchy, the enunciation is great, the production, and 10/10 points.
Knew Better/Forever Boy:Both great songs. A great transition between the both.I love the lyrics, and Ariana is really honest in Forever Boy. The only thing that doesn't really fit is the ''You're my forever boy'' because there's no thing as forever. Regardless, 10/10.
Thinkin' Bout You:This song will be even greater, if you can relate to it. The lyrics are touching, and hse's serving vocals. One of her best songs ever. 10/10
Score: 9.5/10 Ariana did a great job with this album. In my opinion, this is the best album of 2016 so far, and if an album will outdo it, it needs to be a masterpiece. The album could've been a 10/10, but one certain song (IDC) is ruining it. Regardless, her best album yet. The hard work has paid off. Congrats Ariana!

IMPORTANT - REVIEW REQUIREMENTS
In order to combat certain types of reviews, I've implemented a set of length requirements that will deter both short reviews and short sentences.
All single reviews MUST be at least 80 words in length.
Sample 80 Word Review
Quote:
Song Title by Artist is good but has weak spots. I like the instrumental, but the vocals are a bit weak. The production outshines the lyricism in this track. The prechorus melody is really catchy, and the bridge is a nice change of pace. Unfortunately, by the final chorus I was a bit bored. Although this track doesn't have much replay value, it'll be fun to dance to at a party. All in all, I thought this song was decent.
|
All album reviews MUST be at least 150 words in length.
Sample 150 Word Review
Quote:
Album Title is a stunning collection. It begins with Song Title, which is so addictive. I'd bop to the instrumental. Song Title 2 and Song Title 3 seem like cheap filler, but Song Title 4 is when the album picks back up. The guest rap from Rap Artist fits the song well, and the verse melodies are great. Song The two other standout tracks are Song Title 6 and Song Title 9. Song Title 7 is the perfect mix of emotional and upbeat, and its inspirational lyrics are great to hear. Song Title 9 is the perfect way to close out the album, as its epic final chorus brings the house down.
Overall, this album was very cohesive and most of the songs were catchy and pleasant. Nothing felt out of place or forced on the album. I was very satisfied with Album Title, as it's an excellent pop album.
|
Please know that these requirements are only for the better. They are not meant to discourage stans from writing reviews; they are meant to promote more thoughtful and detailed reviews.

1. Watch Me Do - This is on its own a very bad track, but it's also a horrible opener. It gives me a bad feeling about this album already. This tracks instrumental is very bad and the lyrics don't do it for me. (1/10)
2. Me Too - This track feels like multiple effects and genres mashed together, with a result of a very bland track that needs to have a lot of attitude, sadly Trainor doesn't have any in this song. (2.5/10)
3. NO - No starts of a bit annoying, because of it's unneeded intro. NO is a real grower and is much better than the first two tracks of the album. It's not a new track, like I feel I heard this track a 100000x times before it came out. It's cute tho. (7/10)
4. Better - Better has a lot potential, but never really takes off. Yo Gotti also wasn't needed. I wish she would've worked harder on this track, because the sound surprisingly fits her well. (5/10)
5. Hopeless Romantic - This track needs more emotion to carry it, but Meghans delivery is so unpersonal and not emotional at all. The instruments also don't work with Meghans voice. Also a note how we are suddenly going from overproduced messes to a very simplistic track. (4/10)
6. I Love Me - The self assured songs of Meghan are cute to okay, but we have heard it before from Meghan. Also this album is feeling like a mixed bag of styles, not bad (see Lemonade), but in this album it feels like more than a search for sound, then an intentional artistic choice. (4.5/10)
7. Kindly Calm Me Down - Without the best track so far. Finally we can hear some emotion from Meghan and this is how the production should be on all the tracks. Not too simplistic, but also not overdone. Very strong. (9.5/10)
8. Woman Up - It's groovy, but this track could be easily left out. (5/10)
9. Just A Friend To You - A horrible choice to put this right after Woman Up. The Ukelele ruins the song and this could be released on an album, but it just doesn't fit on Thank You (3.5/10)
10. I Won't Let You Down - somewhat decent and better than the most tracks. (6.5/10)
11. Dance Like Yo Daddy - This feels like it belongs on Title, but the track feels like a guilty pleasure. It isn't a strong track, but it's enjoyable. (7/10)
12. Champagne Problems - Very basic, but I'll gladly take it. (6.5/10)
13. Mom - I think this is very cute of Meghan, but the track itself is horrid and makes me cringe lowkey. Meghan sings like some type of toddler, and it puts me off. (4/10)
14. Friends - A replay worthy afterparty track. (7.5/10)
15. Thank You - Thank You is a perfect representation of the album. It feels emotionless and it feels like multiple things mashed together and this is very underwhelming. (5/10)
SCORE 5.2/10

Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande
1. Moonlight
Great opener. Love the snapping, the guitar and the strings. Strings make everything better. I want more of it 7
2. Dangerous Woman
I love this sultry number. It reminds me of Rihanna's Kiss It Better with the sensual singing, the rock inspired guitar riff backdrop and how daring it is. Flawless 10
3. Be Alright
This song actually represents the album cry well, a perfect blend of R&B Pop and House. A sound anchored my her sweet yet sexy vocals. The song is criminally short tho 10
4. Into You
This grew on me. I liked it before but now I can't stop singing it. One of the poppiest track on the album and very catchy 9
5. Side To Side ft. Nicki Minaj
This carrebean style is really back on trend, isn't it. Diplo is probably the one to blame. Nicki is the best part of this song 6.5
6. Let Me Love You ft. Lil Wayne
This is perfect for an afternoon of romance. I love Lil Wayne's verse "what do you need your ex for, I'm triple x love" or something like that always makes me cackle in a good way. 10
7. Greedy
6.5
8. Leave Me Lonely ft. Macy Gray
9. Everyday ft. Future I saw fans hate on this song. The ****? This is perfect, a bop and a half and Future isn't obnoxious on it. A great addition 8
10. Sometimes
I love the "la la la la la" and the guitar riff, sounds like a sample too. Very good song actually 8
11. I Don't Care
6
12. Bad Decisions
A cute song but doesn't really stand out. The bridge is great tho but weird to hear Ariana curse. I'll never get used to that 6.5
13. Touch It
This seems to be the fan fave but I don't think it's all that. It's a cute cute with good vocals, nothing special 6.5
14. Knew Better / Forever Boy
Knew Better is boring but Foerver Boy is great 5
15. Thinkin Bout You
An album highlight, pop infused with a slow House tempo. The drums are great too. I love the effortlessness of everything about the song with contrast with the lyrical theme 10
16. Step On Up
17. Jason's Song (Gave It Away)
18. Focus
This is awful. Catchy but will make you want to cut your ears off 2
Overall, a very solid album and miles better than her last effort which I can't even remember the name. The songs flow better and the sound is more cohesive. I hope this marks a new level of maturity for her and she continues to evolve. The songs are great and often very catchy and yet they don't seem to pander to radio like her previous album. I'm really loving this throwback dance R&B pop thing she has going and I hope she perfects it for her next album. That would be phenomenal
Overall Score: 8/10

Dangerous Woman Review
Dangerous Woman kicks off with "Moonlight". A delicate yet powerful opening track, where her voice is showcased beautifully. The number slightly reminds me of Tattooed Heart, Honeymoon Avenue and Daydreamin'. There's also something haunting about the outro which I adore. It follows by the lead single and also the title track, "Dangerous Woman", which was quite a change from her previous singles. Contains more elements from different genres, and the rock-driven bridge adds a lot to the song. "Be Alright" is the next song, and is possibly the worst song on the album. Everything about this song musically, vocally and lyrically is an unfinished-sounding mess. But the album picks up again with "Into You", which is one of the most pop-friendly songs on the album and could've been a great choice for a lead single. The Caribbean sound of "Side to Side" feels so try-hard, cringe-worthy and outdated. Next, is the Lil Wayne featured track, "Let Me Love You", which I thought on first listen is one of Grande's best songs, but it got boring quickly and is also extremely forgettable. Later on we have one of the LP's best songs, "Greedy", which gave me Popular Song, Uptown Funk & Beat It vibes. Sonically how it combines old with new is just great. From production to vocals, it's fantastic. A must single. "Leave Me Lonely" is arguably the best track on the album, where both Grande and Macy Gray serve. Everything about this one is excellently exceptional. And of course, after such great song we would get the size of mess "Everyday" is. Its chorus is worse than Focus', and Future's minimalist contribution is pointless. Ironically, we have a song titled "Sometimes" afterward, which is much better than the former. The beat goes hard in this one and I love the acoustic R&B vibes. The closing track of the standard edition is "I Don't Care". This one is basically a Christmas & Chill reject (Wit It This Christmas, more precisely), but that's a good thing. It is different from her usual stuff, more mature R&B and less pop. This suits her well. Makes a great album closer and one of my favorite tracks. Some of the bonus tracks are more memorable than the standard ones. "Touch It" and "Knew Better / Forever Boy" are two of them. Both outstanding vocally and production-wise. The last track is "Thinkin' Bout You" – a very cute song. I like its simplicity. Overall, although this album is not so cohesive and consistent, it is probably Grande's best album. Despite not being a really big change from her previous releases, there is more diversity and not as much generic songs.
7/10

Meghan Trainor - Thank You
So, I've never really jumped onto the Meghan Trainor bandwagon. Yea, "All About That Bass" was cute and entertaining, and yes I do love "Like Im Gonna Lose You". But the other 2 singles were meh, and Title (the album) was more or less the same (with a few exceptions). So I was pleasently surprised that I REALLY liked "NO". As it grew on me a bit more, I felt like I could totally get more into Meghan. While this album was a step in the right direction though, it has its misteps. It's very empowering and confident, which I love coming from someone like Meghan, but tht theme does get overused on this album, and at times can come off just..."cocky". Some of the production can come off dated or just too...try hard, then at aother times its just so simple and refreshing. She pulls out some dramatics that, to my surprise REALLY work with her voice.
Watch Me Do [6.0] - I love the intrumental of this track. They lyrics and vocals are whatever, but there is a bit of a funk that I love about this track (even if Meghan doesnt fully pull it off)
Me Too [7.0] - I really want to dislike this song. Im all for songs about "feeling" yourself and being confident, but also, it can come off...overly confident or a bit cocky, which this does. But its a freakin earworm of a song that does get stuck in your head.
NO [8.5] - Meghan's BEST single (IMO). I love the route she went with this single. A contrast from what I said about "Me Too", while this comes of a bit "cocky" too, it TOTALLY works in her favor.
Better [9.0] - Something TOTALLY different AND I LOVE IT ![smitten](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ebf69f50.gif) There is something so relaxing and calm and just...real from this track. Lyrically she does stick to what she normally does, but the instrumental is just heavenly. Yo Gotti is alright (would rather have it all Meghan) but overall a great track
Hopeless Romantic [7.5] - Totally fits that Title vibe, but more...grown I guess. For me,any time Meghan goes more simple on a song, it TOTALLY fits her and this song does that.
I Love Me [4.5] - Again another confident song. Something about this track though just doesnt click with me. I like the attitude but thats about it.
Kindly Calm Me Down [8.5] - Meghan slays simple to death, but I never really thought she could pull off a dramatic ballad. But to my surprise she TOTALLY nails it. So lush, so beautiful, its one of the highlights of Meghan's discography.
Woman Up [6.0] - I like the engery, and its empowering (again, another one) but at least has some personality to it.
Just a Friend to You [8.0] - Simple, yet effective. And the subject matter just hits so close to home (well at least when I was younger and first started dating) Again, this sound is where Meghan's voice and style really SHINES.
I Wont Let You Down [6.5] - So at first I wasnt feeling this song. To...mushy for me I guess. But it has grown on me.
Dance Like Yo Daddy [6.5] - For some reason this song REALLY reminds me of her last album. It's vibe is great, but there are parts of this song that just...are meh.
Champagne Problems [6.0] - Another song that has grown on me, still at the bottom of the pack but way better now. Lyrically its not too deep, and the vibe it ok.
Mom [4.0] - Ok, now i love my mom and all. But this song is pure cheese. And I can like cheesy songs, but this one is just too...idk I cant get into it.
Friends [7.5] - I love this chill vibe from this track. Just hanging out with friends, nothing to big just relaxing. It's just so relaxing and sincre (something that "Mom" tried to pull off but didnt ![shutup](images/smilies/shutup.gif) )
Thank You [7.0] - Another song that grew on me. But the whole tone of this song is really sweet and uplifting.
Overall, its a good album. It's an improvement over her last album
Top Songs: Better, Kindly Calm Me Down, Just a Friend To You
Worst: I Love Me, Mom
Final Score: 7/10

Since Yours Truly, I've been a great fan of Ariana's. From her voice, to her style of music, she just continually knocks it out of the park for me. But Ariana takes in to a WHOLE new level with Dangerous Woman
While I loved her last album, one track in particular, "Love Me Harder", became my favorite. It was different cuz it sounded like a more "mature" song for Ariana, in a time when she was more appealing to teens or kids. This album, IMO, took more of the "Love Me Harder" sound and took it to a whole new level for Ariana. It's more mature, more sensual, and more sincre. You really get Ariana's sound from this album. And while her last album was a bit more of a collection of great songs that sorta work together, this feels more like an ALBUM. It tells a story. It doesnt feel like the built the album around certain singles, but rather just focused on making a great album.
Moonlight [9.0]
Great opened to the album. It's more of Ariana's "old" sound, but still fits this album very well. A great bridge from her old sound to this albums new sound.
Dangerous Woman [10.0]
The guitar is EVERYTHING on this track. The layed back sound, her soaring vocals, it just all works so well. It sets up the entire mood of the album.
Be Alright [8.5]
Before the album released, I never really saw the love for this track. I mean, I did like that house influence, and the vocals and simplicity on the track, but saw it more overhyped. When the album was released though, it got better for me. It kind of blends all the sounds that work for Ariana and her voice. My only complaint is it seems to...short
Into You [10.0]
Ariana has given me her BEST single to date with "Into You". I love me some r&b influenced Ari, but the pop gem is just so infectious. The quite verses, the build up in the pre-hook, that explosive chorus and the thundering bridge! Everytime I listen to this song, it gets me just so pumped up.
Side By Side [9.5]
I didnt think that Ari and Nicki could top "Get On Your Knees", but they sure did. I love the layed back style of this track and once again, Ari's vocals soar and ride really well on this tropical style type of music. Then Nicki comes in, and takes this song to a whole new level.
Let Me Love You [8.0]
I love the dark, mysterious beat of the track. It just sets up this whole vibe that's so sexy. And that chorus with the voice effect on the love lyric is just so .... hypnotizing. Im usually not a fan of Lil Wayne's, but I love the contrast of Ari's vocals, with Wayne's vocals. It somehow REALLY works.
Greedy [9.5]
Although a bit...chessy lyrically, this whole funk/pop song just brings me to life ![Satellites](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/sats_zps354d12f2.gif) I always have to sing along to this song. This track really works well with Ariana's voice and style. And the last chorus with that key change is just LIFE
Leave Me Lonely [10.0]
I totally didnt know what to expect between this two voices. Although not a huge fan of Macy's, her tone is really beautiful. Without Macy, the song would already be great. The sound, the vocals, the emotion really comes through in Ariana. But then Macy's part just adds that extra drama and soul and takes it to a whole new level.
Everyday [8.5]
I love that Ariana can go from r&b, to pop, to this really urban sound and make them all fit her style. Future doesnt really add anything nrew to this track. But Ariana soars on this beat.
Sometimes [10.0]
The moment I heard the intro I was HOOKED. It's just so layed back, and sincre. Lyrically I LOVE this track cuz its just so sweet and so...young love. I cant get enough of this track
I Dont Care [7.0]
A great track for sure, I feel like this, like "Moonlight", fit with her old style more. But "Moonlight" works well with this album, and I feel like this doesnt work as well. Still a great track, but I'd prefer it as a bonus.
Bad Decisions [8.0]
The intro always reminds me of "Timber". But I actually like this song. It plays to all of Ariana's strengths.
Touch It [10.0]
By far, my FAVORITE song off this album. I've always loved a more mature sounding song from Ariana. I love the whole theme of this track. From the sincre lyrics, to the way she delievers them, to the emotion in her vocals. The way the song just flows just gets me everytime. And that last chorus is just AMAAZING.
Knew Better/Forever Boy [9.0]
I love the contrast of these two songs. "Knew Better" has more of this urban pop sound, that then transitions perfectly into this more pop/dance sound and it all works.
Thinking Bout You [9.5]
Ariana is really pulling off these "im in love" type songs this era, and this is no exception. It's so...euphoric. Its dreamy, and again sincre. Vocals are a highlight for me on this track.
I dont see myself getting tired of this album any time soon. It just hits all the right buttons when it comes to a pop/r&b album. Ariana really took her time with this album and it shows. Everything fits well together and she really did find her groove on this album. All these songs work great with her style, her sound, her voice.
Top Songs: Touch It, Leave Me Lonely, Sometimes, Into You
Worst: I Dont Care (but its stil great!)
Final Score: 9.5/10
