The English version of "Nobody" was only played once (on Radio Disney) and didn't get any feedback.

Such a rarity. I feel like American stations are so exclusive to only english songs while other stations worldwide play songs from different languages. This is new and hopefully a start of a new trend. Maybe this is what we need to get Americans away from their 1-dimensional mindset.

No, it actually got minor airplay and charted in the top 100 of CHR. It never went for adds or anything tho so of course it wasn't going to become a hit.

Well "La Tortura" was in Spanish and that did kinda well in US, didn't it? But it didn't really change anything. I don't understand how the most racially diverse country in the world can be so much more narrow-minded when compared to another developed countries...

How the hell would Nobody become a hit anywhere (outside Asia) tho ? The song has like zero American appeal, airplay wouldn't matter.

It wouldn't, but with all the other **** they were doing at the time (opening for people, doing radio shows, + they performed on national TV twice including So You Think You Can Dance) they should have at least tried to squeeze every bit of exposure out of it that they could by giving it an adds date... Otherwise what were they even doing?
