Nr1 hits are essential to get AOTY nom lately it seems (for more pop-leaning albums). 'Teenage Dream' and 'Loud' both had lousy/avg critics but snatched nominations. 'Speak Now' was critically strong but failed to provide hits...and was overlooked. Did Taylor sacrifice quality over quantity?
