Regardless, I can imagine her being salty that Roar got the nom and she didn't. Besides if she attended the Grammy's all she could do is watch others' music get praised and watch how Katy and Beyonce get to perform and steal the show while she's sitting in a chair She's probably way too proud for that
There's not a chance in hell that Gaga didn't get offered a performing slot at the Grammys - it's more likely that she didn't want to perform and spoil this mid era blackout which is presumably building toward a relaunch. If she wasn't performing and she wasn't nominated - why go? Plus, she may have been kinda pissed at award shows after MTV **** blocked her.
Why she's going to the Oscars is less clear. Maybe she's presenting an award (best song etc.) or is part of an Ellen skit? Maybe it's promo for Versace, and she's now building up appearances to prep the oven for the upcoming single?
It'd be amazing if it was to co-present with Babs and they announced the Gypsy film. Or if she was performing the tribute song...but I imagine that's Pink.

really sad that this is going to happen. i still cannot get over the fact that midway through an album era...yet the era has been dead since november.
