It's not by choice though, it's just where I live is virtually all white people and I can't really do anything about that . My school literally had I think like 5 black people and 6 Asians and that was it and some of them weren't even in my year .
my second college choice is really catching up on my #1.
my #2 has all my friends going there and one of my good friends wants to get an apartment and live off campus. plus it's an hour away from New Orleans and I wanna party on the weekend lol

It's a shame that people aren't able to experience racial diversity. I think that understanding a bit about each other personally would go a long way no matter who you are. My college is filled with white people and only like 8% black (I don't see another black student in most of my classes).
sdkhsdj it's not actually a preference though, I don't deliberately choose to have white friends it's just that's basically the only people that live here. It's more of a case of:

I agree. I think it's a good thing too, to have racial diversity. But according to the last census only 0.7% of the population in my country are black lol. Over 96% are white (the rest are Asian/mixed). Also I live in a rural area so that makes it even less diverse .

I wouldn't base my college choice on where my friends go + partying lol. That's just not good enough reasons from experience.
