Stan bias aside, the WD video is nice but a major letdown and her wigs were really ugly and badly fitted. It didn't meet my expectations and I actually love the song so was kinda hoping I was blown away, but it was just Style 2.0 for me which I was really hoping it wouldn't be. But eh. Still better than most PRISM videos. But enough about that.
I have something about Katy to say. I posted in here a couple of weeks ago (I think?) that I'd finally let the light in and I liked "It Takes Two" now (which used to be my second least-favourite song on the album). But today it
really hit me. I'm feeling it so much. It's taken over me. The verses are just so.
The chorus is.
I love how there's a little slight bit of Benny's influence in the production in the chorus which is also present on Ryn Weaver's album... there's like a buzzing sound that I associate with Ryn for some reason in the chorus. But yes, it's just totally slain me. The best way I can explain it is, like, it's Katy's new lead single and I'm getting all of these excited emotions. Because I've always snubbed the song before, it's like a new song for me. It's crazy.
it didn't bother me at all, the bad blood red wig in the end bothered me a crap ton.
