Yeah, I agree, I got 'em on my iPod just 'cause it's Adele, but they were kinda weird songs.... Anyways, I like "Team". Lorde seems a bit cocky and not very humble, though, so I feel like her personality and Adele's would clash. But Lorde has some good music. For a girl her age, she has a very mature and developed voice and musical style that a lot of people should appreciate.

I feel like she's very straight forward and real which I admire, she speaks her mind which is nice

Guys I wanna ask how would you want the discography thread to be set up? How long should I allow rates to be sent in for? I think only 1 week and no more than 2 weeks

This though. Its one of the reasons why I can't get into her. Even on Royals its sort of like her complaining about rich people( this is my interpretation from listening to half of the song about once or twice) ,something that I find to not interested in . And she'll probably feel a bit hypocrytical when she now has money while singing.

And forgive me for being skeptical but isn't it a bit too early in her career (just 2 albums) to be doing something like this ? The choices will be very limited.

It just feels much better when there's more choices and obvious songs. And you also need to get permission from Ace Reject as Marooner5 stated, its some sort of rule for rates I think .....

I just remembered... Don't forget to include B-sides and other tracks that were officially released:
"That's It, I Quit, I'm Moving On"
"I Can't Make You Love Me"
"Fool That I Am"
"Painting Pictures"
"Now and Then"
etc.....
And then obviously the bonus tracks from 21: "I Found a Boy", "Hiding My Heart", "If It Hadn't Been for Love", and "Need You Now". I'm assuming you put them in there, but if there are only 20+ songs you might not have them all.

Exactly. And Lorde already is a bit hypocritical. She's trashed quite a few celebrities when she's just starting out. It's one thing to have an opinion, it's another thing to be rude and just trash everyone. She trashed Taylor Swift, created a post on Tumblr to try to cover up what she said by saying it was taken out of context, and now all of a sudden Taylor Swift and Lorde are best friends. I don't think Lorde is a terrible person, but she seems to be very cocky and think very highly of herself. Adele is very humble and kind... even after all of her success. Plus, Adele is pretty picky about collaborations anyways. She worked with Wiz Khalifa because she bonded over motherhood with his wife. She was friends with Daniel Merriweather and Jack Peñate when she collaborated with them, etc. The only popular artist I could see her collaborating with at the moment is Beyoncé. Maybe Justin Timberlake or P!nk. She's a big fan of both, was inspired by both, and is friends with both.
