Is there any particular reason that I am missing out on as to why this Deluxe edition is flopping so hard?
Is there some sort of big scandal that is surrounding her in the UK that I am unaware about?

CD sales are strong at this time of year because people but them as gifts, CDs are great stocking fillers. Sales decrease after Xmas. New releases are rarely discounted in the January sales.

The Silence flopped, people have no incentive to buy the album. It was a pointless re-release.

Hmmm. Okay. Well, I have no idea why The Silence flopped. The single version was much better than the album version and it was performed on the freaking X Factor.
Oh well, I am ready for her to slay the US.

Take That, Cardle retain chart lead
Matt Cardle and Take That are expected to continue their chart leads this weekend, midweek figures have revealed.
Cardle, who took the Christmas number one last Sunday with 'When We Collide', is fending off competition from Katy B, whose latest single 'Lights On' with Ms. Dynamite currently stands in second place.
The X Factor champion has so far sold another 120,000 copies of the track this week, taking his total sales tally to 560,000.
Meanwhile, Katy Perry has jumped three spots from 11 to eight with 'Firework', Tinie Tempah and Kelly Rowland's 'Invincible' leaps from 39 to 18, and Cheryl Cole's 'The Flood' debuts in the top 40 at 34.
On the album chart, Take That are on course to steal a sixth week at the chart summit with Progress. The LP has now passed 1.5 million copies in the UK.
Meanwhile, Rihanna holds steady at number two with Loud, while Olly Murs climbs from five to four with Thinking Of Me and JLS move from eight to seven with Outta This World.

Take That pass 1.5m album sales markReleases by Take That and X Factor winner Matt Cardle are proving to be the nation’s favourite musical gifts this Christmas, with both acts continuing to dominate this week’s biggest sellers, according to Official Charts Update.
Progress’s extraordinary sales certainly show no sign of abating – it has now passed the 1.5m sales tally in its sixth week on sale, almost 500,000 sales ahead of the second biggest album of the year to date, Michael Buble’s Crazy Love.
In turn, Matt Cardle's single When We Collide has now sold almost 560,000 copies after adding an extra 120,000 copies this week.

Matt needs to sell 262,000 more copies to pass Eminem & Rihanna, and he almost sold half of that in 4 days. He's gonna pass them

Just look at the sales for the last few years around that time.
Only the BIG artists have managed to accomplish bigger sales during the first quarter, like Eminem. Even Gaga never really sold big each week, she just managed to be consistent. I'm not saying albums can't accumulate high numbers, but their weekly sales will be dismal. "Loud" will most likely be consistent and remain high on the charts, but if anybody is expecting her to continue with these sales then they're kidding themselves. Either way, Rihanna shall still sell **** loads, it'll just take longer.

Can't you count gurl? Em is on 800k and Matt is on 450k, he needs another 362k. He won't do it.
