How much does bloodlines and national identities affects the pop girls? National identity dictates in thinking, norm and values,... the parents instil in their kids. Even when they aren't born and raised in that country.
It was Armistice Day, it's quite interesting to see how the build up to WWI was and how history repeated in how pop girls and their bases behaved.

So Britain can concentrate on keeping the Germans from entering the North Sea. Britain also befriended the Americans who add their battleships to the Grand Fleet and the befriended Japanese too.
At this point when the combined power of Madonna, Beyonce, Katy and Gaga was turned irrelevant against great evil. It's clear that we have to unite and let's started with embracing the familiar Monsters we have seen through the gun sights for years. Peace between Monsters and Kats would be as iconic as the French and the British finally improving their relations after almost a thousand years of hostilities. In worst case it would be like the EU with great divide, I hope it would grow into a solid alliance.
That's the advantage men have over women, after a good (physical) fight, men can have a drink and fun together while women hold eternal grudge against people who might have shaded them. Katy has that masculine side preventing her being limited by something Taylor cannot bypass/exceed/control. It's typical in our wars that we exploit the stuff, defects in their brain that the enemy can't control/manage/handle.

So telling: Our new alliance depicted as John Bull walking away with the Marianne and turning our backs on the Kaiser having the sabre visible under his overcoat, implying Taylor's use of force.

I posted this on the messy artists facts but that thread flopped, so i thought i'd post it here since it involved the government literally trying to destroy a public person's life. She’s not a singer, but she had a really awful tragic story, sorry if it’s a long post.
One of the most legendary actresses in Hollywood Jean Seberg, was in a ruthless war against the FBI, the latter found out she was giving financial contributions supporting civil rights such as the NAACP, the native American school and also the Black Panther Party. Apparently they were so upset about it, they went on initiating a hate campaign on her.
There were some rumors about pushing for blacklisting her from any Hollywood part along with Jane Fonda, and the worst of all, they wanted to destroy her career. They linked the baby she was carrying at the time (she was married/pregnant btw) to a member of the Black Panther Party.
The poor lady went into a pre-mature labor, and the baby died. Later she organized a funeral with an open casket to show the white skin of her child and shutdown the false rumors. She also, along with her husband, sued the magazine and demanded an open apology.
But it did not stop there, According to her friends interviewed after her death, Seberg experienced years of aggressive in-person surveillance (constant stalking), as well as break-ins and other intimidation-oriented activity. These newspaper reports make clear that Seberg was well aware of the surveillance. FBI files show that she was wiretapped, and in 1980, the Los Angeles Times published logs of her Swiss wiretapped phone calls. Even when was living in France.
FBI records show that J. Edgar Hoover kept U.S. President Richard Nixon informed of FBI activities related to the Jean Seberg case via President Nixon's domestic affairs chief.
Her life was literally tragic, a series of failed relationships, abusive partners, and government stalking… she later died of suicide after being presumed lost, conspiracy theorists say the US was behind this but who knows??
