Damn.... It's going to be SO good! And yeah, same, same, and same! I'm literally going to force my parents and sister to stay with me after the show while I collect confetti. I just hope my dad doesn't try and leave early because I am not missing the encore.... "When We Were Young" and "Rolling in the Deep" are my favorite songs by her and if he thinks I am missing those songs, he can think again!

People leave before the encore a lot of the time, or during the last song, because otherwise trying to leave the venue takes FOREVER. I went with my best friend to see Maroon 5, and her mom bought the tickets because she's a big fan too, so we went and her mom made us leave early so we could get out of the venue before the parking lot got backed up, and I was PISSED.

But in most cases, people will stay. Plus, considering Adele doesn't do "Rolling in the Deep" until the encore, most people will suspect that she's coming back on and stay anyways. I mean... She just disappears after "Set Fire to the Rain" without any goodbye or thank you or anything. You know she's not done. So, I would imagine most people won't leave.

has there ever been a genuinly, foul-mouthed hilarious artist in the mainstream like Adele?
i mean i've never laughed as much as when seeing her live shows or interviews.
and while others may be funny, they obviously try it or do the exact same routine, she's like a true standup comedian jamming and riffing with stories, jokes etc...
that is really something unique and one big reason i ****ing adore her.

btw found this interesting interview with Richard Russel, i love his look on busines and artists. music not the bling personified. and i sincerely hope that Adele stays at XL!

Few points:

1. Grammy performance: Kill me now. Couldn't have gone any worse. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I've never felt so bad after watching a performance in my life. She'll redeem herself next year. I also think that performance lowered her chances of winning many Grammys next year, unfortunately. But music, not the bling.

2. The Brits performance: At first I thought it was great. Watching it back, it was still a little pitchy and she didn't reach the high note as comfortably as I would like. Beautiful visuals though.

3. Her tour: I like the setlist, but I'm a little pissed that she doesn't do more acoustic performances. She should do both DYR and TT one after the other. It's when she shines the most. I also don't see the point in doing Send My Love if she's not going to go all out with the pyrotechnics etc. There are many other better choices. I like the fact that she's doing AIA, it really allows her to show she really is one of the best vocalists of our generation. As usual, her banter is flawless.

For it to go #14 is incredible and not something to feel bad about.

Future singles: Please don't be expecting videos and for the songs to go top 10. It's nearly impossible at this point. The expectations some of you put on legend are ridiculous, particularly those outside the base who are just trolling at this point.
