True! She usually does her best when she goes to a new direction and don't try to replicate great songs. I really don't know what to expect, but I am so excited! She has been really happy and I hope this reflects on her music.

I feel like she's going for more of a throwback vibe. 70's kinda feel, maybe some disco influences on her singles. Certainly that would accommodate tracks like you and I, but what I'd personally prefer is something closer to Sexxx Dreams, Do What U Want, and a TFM sort of aesthetic, but of course with some retro vibes because that would be cool.

Eeek BTW has aged so poorly for me, but I recognize it is an iconic inspirational homosexual song.

Applause has a better chorus than Just Dance, but I hate the rest of the lyrics (except the iconic 'one second I'm a koons' part). Still the instrumental gives me more than I need!

When Gaga tops BR in terms of lead single there will be no meltdowns on Twitter, begging of proof of purchases, or silly chart comparisons to other lesser lead singles

Eh, I disagree. I think it's among the higher mid tier from the album. It just as you mention gets overlooked from the diverse tracks on the album.

Sidenote: I think MJH and DWUW is vastly overrated. I don't understand why people are saying DWUW is her best song.
