Wait, so she did tweet about the mermaid coming after the video, so maybe that means she IS saving that storyline for another video. She knew we all knew about the storyline and so she said that it is going to come. After all, she did come up with it. It would kind of fit You and I 'cause the story of the video is about her being plucked from the ocean and made into a real girl so she can fall in love with a real boy.
Don't tell me y'all don't want that now. Y'all were crazy she didn't do it for TEoG! I want it.

You do know she collabed with those people before she became the Queen of Pop, right? She collabed with them to get to where she is and now that she's on top of the world, she wouldn't collab with another popstar.

My problem is that I don't think it would really fit into another song.
The mermaid theme just fits perfectly to TEOGs production and to the summer time. It's just over now, I don't think it would fit somewhere else.

Touring Indonesia, eh? That's cool. I hope they made good on their plans to tour China, too. I wonder if she'd face any government opposition with that.
Also, I feel like with her an "unexpected" single choice could be anything, including Scheisse.

Girl, what're you smoking? That storyline doesn't go with TEoG. It doesn't go with anything. But, I mean, that's Gaga. She's been kind of literal lately and I'm dying for a crazy video that has nothing to do with the song. After all, that's what made her famous. :}
