This season is giving me Murder House. I still don't like the whole reenactment idea. IT makes it less scary because it's people telling their story but they are having other people acting the part. They could have done it without it.

i just don't understand the point of unsuspenseful , unscary plot line for literally half of the season ..... this dramatic reenactment thing could have lasted 3 episodes and we would have gotten the point

they should consider rebooting this series in a couple years maybe and have each season be taken over by a different director .... someone who actually knows about horror instead of someone using cheap ass tricks in an attempt to elongate the incoherent plot for as long as possible

It's when characters address the camera. In sets, there are (or at least, was) three walls: Back, left, and right. 4th wall was an assumed wall, where the camera is, but we don't really see it, and it's called breaking the 4th wall when someone talks to the camera instead of just acting in the scene.
