Paige Elliot Appears on the Late Show with David Letterman
Paige Elliot appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, beginning the show by appearing on his desk, sitting with her legs crossed, wearing a short, plain black dress and stiletto, Louboutin ankle boots, kicking one leg back and forth. David walked into the set, ready to sit down until he realized Paige was there, where he seemed a bit shocked. She quickly looked back at him, and then jumped down into the guest's chair, smiling as usual.
"Now, Paige," David began. "You got a restraining order against your own husband, David, correct?"
"That's right," she said, her smile twitching a bit.
"Nice name he's got there, huh... Now, are you going to ever get that restraining order removed?"
Paige chuckled. "Yes."
"When?"
"His death."
David stared in shock.
Similar humorous comments were made throughout their interview, until Paige went over to perform three songs on the usual performance stage:
"Ready for the Weekend"
The regular version of the song. Energy bouncing everywhere, Paige moving around for the choreography, which seemed even more difficult than usual given she was wearing her high heels.
"Feels Like Love"
A song she performed on Jerry Springer recently. The first time she performed it, it featured a rap from T.I.. This time, however, she performed a slowed-down version of the song, being more radio-candy pop than danceable, dubsteppy electro with T.I.'s verse.
"Somewhere Up Here"
The powerballad featuring an increasingly heavy bass guitar, along with the sound of a life support system. It's one of the few times she's performed it, and she seemed ready to cry by the time the song slowed down and dwindled off to its end.
