Wow the trailer/preview for the next episode looks amazing It seems like it has a very different vibe from the show's usual tone...

Really sad about Bob I was hoping they'd do something different at first but I have to say, his opening scene was really well done. I'm glad he at least got kind of a last laugh.

I don't think so, everyone is actually infected already, it's just that it is basically dormant until they die. But apparently being bitten or scratched accelerates the death process.

I'm guessing that Gareth's group didn't know about it, which is why the "tainted meat" thing freaked them out so much. Rick's group only knows because he was told by the scientist in season 1 and he saw it happen for himself to Shane.
