The instrumental was updated a bit, but was unchanged for the most part. An ATRL member met K$ on the Get $leazy Tour last year and asked about Booty Call. She said it was going to be remastered and might go on the album, so the updated instrumental makes sense. Then again, there are a lot of updated versions of her demos.
Old demos. They weren't very memorable (they sounded like her usual unreleased songs), so I'm sorry that I can't tell you much about them.
Woo Hoo and Pretty Lady sounded great. Pretty Lady is pretty much what you heard in the LQ snippet plus a bridge of Jeffree Star (I think?) talking over the instrumental. The song is apparently about cross-dressing. Woo Hoo was really catchy and had a pop rock type of sound. Yourfavefan's thread summed up the song pretty well. There was like a weird bridge/outro type thing where someone was singing Hallelujah. At around 0:14 - :0:20 is what I heard. It sounds weird, I know, but it really worked in the song.
thaye.. how were the songs? do you have any details?
I didn't hear woo hoo in HQ though! You didn't miss that much in the tinychat channel yesterday, even though it WAS nice to hear something after all that waiting... It was just very lq.
27th - I'm a Leo and Leos are the kings of the jungle. If you're not a Leo a.k.a King, you better get down on your hands and knees and pay me lip service.
Back on topic:
I don't know what to expect from this album. Didn't she say she was doing 70's Rock and it would be irreverent pop music.
