Colin Powell Announces He Will Vote For Hillary Clinton

Powell, a retired four-star Army general and a Republican who served in the George W. Bush administration, reportedly made the announcement at a Tuesday event hosted by the Long Island Association, a business group focused on development in Long Island, New York.

Powell joins scores of other Bush administration veterans who have crossed party lines to endorse Clinton, including former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, former President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board Chairman Brent Scowcroft, former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.

Aaron Black, an associate with Democracy Partners and a former Occupy Wall Street organizer, worked with the pro-Trump site Breitbart, tipping it off about his stunts, exchanging raw video and coordinating coverage, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation.

"He worked directly with Breitbart’s political team on the ground in the primary states to sabotage Marco Rubio & Ted Cruz, and elect Trump as nominee of [the Republican] party,” the source told POLITICO. “[Black] was coordinating with [Breitbart’s] top staff to rabble rouse against Rubio at rallies." (It's not clear what was done regarding Cruz and Breitbart says they never did cover Black's activities against Cruz).

The white Northwest is probably a bigger issue than the South at this point.

Georgia is flipping soon, etc.

There's a chance the South can go blue if Dems help bring them economic prosperity amongst the constantly changing demographics in favor of POC, etc. The Northwest (not including the coast) is just jaded white voters who may never turn. The most Republican state this year is Wyoming.
