It worked out fine with Paparazzi/LoveGame. Nelly Furtado did it with the Loose era.
I was never here for DWUW being the second global single. It's amazing as a promo/album track but as the single to carry the era throughout the holidays it loses it's power. It's not strong enough. Making it a US single because of it's crossover appeal and Beats commercial, I can somewhat understand. But not as the second single everywhere else.
I'm hoping it all works out
